Site works when logged into manager but doesn't when logged out

I am using 1.06. Site works OK when I am logged into manager but when I log out, I get a Modx Parse error and nothing on the site works.

Here is a partial listing of the error that gets displayed when I try to access a page while logged out of the manager:

"Execution of a query to the database failed - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 »
SQL: SELECT setting_name, setting_value FROM . . ."

Any suggestions as to what might be the problem? Thanks

Those errors are usually when some value is not being properly set, and the database query is being made with an empty value.

What add-ons are you using? This sounds like some add-on is behaving differently when you are logged in, such as MaxiGallery or Jot.

Wow, thank-you Susan, you are a life-saver. I tried disabling a few plug-ins and when I disabled the QuickManager, the problem went away and my site started working. I don't use the QuickManager so maybe this is all I need? Thanks again

That's odd; I've never had QM+ behave like that, and it's been used in literally dozens of sites. I would be inclined to poke at it and find out why it's causing that problem when I had a "spare" moment or two.
