OK I have goggled loads and cant find out how to create a horizontal sliding image view, I am trying to upgrade from Evo and there i am using easy gallery with this call:

    [!easy2?gid=`3` &showonly=`images` &slideshow=`contentflow` &ss_config=`default` &w=`100` &h=`100` &ss_bg=`black` &ss_limit=`none`!]

What I am trying to do is just create something that does similar, I tried using this call:

    [[Gallery? &album=`test1` &w=`10` &h=`10` &plugin=`slimbox` &loop=`1` &slimboxLoadJQuery=`1` ]]

But it just loads vertical images that dont scroll the only fancy thing they do is use lightbox when clicked.

Can anyone give me a snippet call that will replace the easy gallery option or does nothing exist.

    Many thanks

    Ian

      I presume you've seen this page? http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Gallery.Plugins.Slimbox

What browser are you using? Does it have an error console so you can see if there are any Javascript errors?

        Hi

Yes that snippet call above came from that page I have added in the height and width while testing which I think is the wrong parameter after more forum searching.

I see something which looked like what i wanted here http://modx.com/extras/package/nivogallery but for some reason is does not show up in the package manager.

I am using firefox which does have firebug but to be honest I dont know enough to find any problems with javascript I dont do this as a job is just a bit of fun I am a kind of copy and paste person mostly from these forums.

        Many thanks

Do you mean you want it to scroll automatically, as in a slideshow? I don't think the slimbox plugin does that; it just allows the viewer to scroll the items with an arrow or button.

A quick update I have just found nivo but the basic example just seems to show 1 image at a time I was kind of hoping to get a bunch of thunnails scrolling across the screen exactly like that snippet call for easy gallery used to do there is no list of parameters shown for the Nivo gallery so I wont have a clue how to change it.

            Thanks again
