hello, total newbie here. Thus is my first time working with modx, since like yesterday. I initially installed revo v2.2.2, then upgraded to 2.2.4 before really doing anything with the manager, but I did do one of the mini tutorials from the modx site documentation...ie...creating our first template...then today I installed the bootstrap twitter template and idk....I changed the footer.tpl with what I want the copyright to say....very small change, but for the life of me I cannot get the changes to show in the browser. I changed the template the page is using ...from the old tutorial one to bootstrap, cleared the sites cache like a millions times in the manager, cleared my browser cache, opened it in another browser, cleared then that browsers cache....logged in and out of the manager just to check if the changes stuck....(they did, apparently it saved and is showing the new footer information in the footer.tpl file) but still the new info won't show in the browser....I am at a total loss here, and being new to all this I am beginning to wonder if there is another place this information might be written or coded in that I don't know of to check and or change.(?) Also worth noting, I am showing no errors in my error log, though when I click on resources tab, then right click on the page listing and choose resource overview then click on the 3rd tab "cache output", it is showing the old un-updated footer info......is this cache I can delete, as in literally just removing it and saving? or what is this area mean? Not sure how this system works so...also, I am able to type changes into the site content area and those changes I can see in the browser immediately after a save and refresh, just not the changed footer template file changes.......so at a loss right now. Sorry of this sounds stupid I just been playing around with it for about 40 minutes now and really just can't figure this out. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated...
