ModExt, Grids and the data they expect to receive

I am just wondering if anyone knows what data format the ext grid is expecting, is it json, an array?

I think I will have an easier time with getting the data I want to appear/search by via xpdo rather then the modObjectUpdateProcessor in 2.2.

MODX uses JSON. I think Extjs (Sencha) can do more then JSON. You can use Firebug: https://getfirebug.com/ to see the data that is send and returned via all HTTP calls.

Once you install Firebug turn it on and go to the console tab. Then go to a page that has a grid on it and then Refresh the grid and the bottom request/line will be from the grid. You can then look through the different options and you should be able to figure out what you need. You can also look at the Net tab for related information.

It never even dawned on me that I could use firebug to look at the receiving data.
