Quip or other Comment with VoteUp VoteDown or ThumbsUp Thumbsdown (comments with rate)?

Hi folks,
Any idea how to manage vote up/vote down or like/dislike per comment with Quip or other comment packages? It should also count number of likers/dislikers.
I just want to figure out where to start

I have a similar requirement to highlight specific comments. For info in the absence of any obvious solution I have raised an issue on the modx tracker.
