After writing some articles to my test site I've noticed they are not working properly. After clicking on article's title I am transferred to page with one article but it looks more like Articles container Template (articles' text is shortened and ends with ...). I've started checking older posts and there was a moment in the past when they start too look good, but I don't know why they behave like that.
Some clues I think may com helpful (but I'm not sure they affect this problem).
Some time ago I've changed option "Articles URL Format": in Articles Container, Advanced Options to value "%Y/%m/%d/%alias/", older Articles have URLs like this (they are working properly), but newer posts miss ID of article despite above setting and they have URL like /2012/07/31//article-alias. There is a comment to this setting that it affects only new articles and you should re-publish older ones - I've tried that and it doesn't change anything (links stay as they were and newer ones are broken as they were before.
Revo 2.2.4, Articles 1.6.2 all other Extras also are newest available versions.

I've fixed manually links in the database. I think changing Article URL (when Articles does not regenerate all old links) introduces inconsistency in the database which leads to problems easy to miss but fixing them is time-consuming manual job.
I'm still not sure why Articles haven't generated id numbers in URLs, maybe it was a bug in on of the older older versions.
Anyway, I've filed a Feature Request in tracker for new Articles Bulk actions (regenerate links and regenerate aliases).
