Date Dec 1, 1969 in System Settings

Looked throughout the support threads for an answer for this - and hope this post isn't a duplicate.

MODX Revolution 2.2.4-pl (traditional)
mysql : 5.0.32-Debian_7etch1-log
PHP: 5.3.3-7+squeeze13

After a new installation of 2.2.4 while modifying system settings noticed that all dates except those changed by me had the date:

Dec 31, 1969 06:00 PM

in the Last Modified column. Tried all the suggestions in various threads - no joy.
Ripped and reloaded fresh install - still have the old date. Checked other 2.2.4 installations and find that the Last Modified column dates update to the current date, but all modified system settings keep the correct changed date. Point to note also, the packages installed on the problem system had the proper date of their installation. Another site on 2.2.2 has no dates in the Last Modified column except values that were modified.

On this new install the created date for the resource is correct, published date is empty and Unix time is today's date.

I'm not sure I want to proceed with working on this installation until I understand what's going on and whether it will cause problems going forward.

Any suggestions?

Have looked through Bob Ray's site and this forum, but don't find the same problem and could really use an assist.

I have the same non-issue on my MODX sites. I like it actually because it's an easy to read reference point as to when the System Settings were changed.

I think it's a PHP + MySQL issue where it doesn't grab the UNIX timestamp during the install. At this point I don't see that it will affect anything on the site, even time-based snippet calls like I have, and like what Articles use.

Have never seen this happen - and have dozens of installations at various hosting services, that's why the alarm at seeing this for the first time.

I'm not 100% positive but I'm getting strange results doing some date TV experimenting on a test server and not sure if this is the cause or not. I'm noticing this on all recent installs of Revo Traditional though.
