Working on a new installation and noticed that all dates in System Settings Last Modified column except for settings that I've modified read:
Dec 31, 1969 06:00 PM
When making changes to system settings the date correctly indicates the current date. No packages are installed - this site has been ripped and reloaded (no packages, templates or anything has been added) just to verify that other items aren't causing the problem and to hopefully clear any database errors as well. Point to note as well - before the rip/reload packages that were installed had the correct actual installation dates.
Have run some of the tests mentioned in other posts about this problem and so far have found that the create date is correct, published date is empty (even though I have switched from published to not published a few times) and the Unix time is correct when using:
<?php
$dateFormat = '%B %e, %Y';
$dateUnixTime = time();
echo strftime($dateFormat, (intval($dateUnixTime)));
I logged into 2 other sites using 2.2.4 and found that all dates in the system settings (last modified) automatically update to the current date, except for changed items that correctly indicate the date they were modified. Logged into a 2.2.2 site and there are no dates in the last modified column except for items that have been modified.
Would like to understand and fix this issue before building a site with these conditions. Any assist? Please?
