    Im running modx
    0.9.6

    How might I go about making introtext use the rich text editor (FCKEditor is it)?

      Thats not a bad idea. smiley I’ve found using the RTE and then selecting the HTML to copy and paste it into the introtext is an easy enough workaround.

        I’d use copy and paste but I’m getting users to input text and they wont get copy and paste (fear of html) so integrated editor would be nice, there must be a way to flag the field for the FCKeditor anyone?

          Try to create new plugin with code
          global $replace_richtexteditor;
          $replace_richtexteditor[] = "introtext";

          and check OnDocFormRender in system events.

              I take it back thanks this did work for me but only within the manager, is there anyway to extended it to the quickedit as well.
