[SOLVED] Snippet problem since upgrading to 2.2.4

Hi

Yesterday, I updated modx from 2.1.3 to 2.2.4. At first glance, everything went well but today I saw, that I have a very strange problem with a snippet and my custom db.

Every day, I create a new article (I duplicate the one from the day before, change some TVs and Content and save it under a new name.

Inside this article, I call a snippet that fetches some records from a custom db. This worked very well since january 2012.

But since yesterday, the snippet gets no records from the custom db for the past period but only for articles created after the update.

There are no errors in the modx error protocoll and I have absolutely no clue, what I can do now. I spent alread hours and hours.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be awesome.

It may have something to do with your timezone settings.

Thank you for your help Susan. Maybe you can give me some tipps where to start debugging. I have never had some serious issues with modx so I don't now where to start appart from the error protocol in the manager.

I'm afraid I'm not very experienced with Revo myself, but I have seen a lot of conversations in the forums about some date settings in the site setting that need to match with the database. I don't know it that has anything to do with your problem, but it does sound like some kind of date malfunction if it will only retrieve data saved since the upgrade.

Hopefully someone more versed in such things will be able to shed more light on this.

My problem is solved and everything works fine again.

For anyone else who is strugglin with the same behaviour, here is what I did:

In the ModX manager, go to System Settings. Search for the key "date_timezone". I had to enter Europe/Zurich and it worked for me. Here you can find a list of all supported timezones: http://www.php.net/manual/en/timezones.php
