Hi,
I have been recently trying to configure MODX along with the Babel plugin in order to provide multilingual feature on my site, yet I had really hard time doing so. The last thing that was a failure was context access which obviously is a must in this type of configuration.
So here's what I did:
- I have created two contexts web and weben, the web with the default and weben with the following settings:
- base_url: /en/
- Language: en
- http_host: mydomain.com/en/
- site_start: 24
- site_url: http://mydomain.com/en/
[li]I have given anonymous access "load Only"[/li]
[li]Configured .htaccess[/li]
[li]Installed and set up Babel[/li]
The problem is that everything seems to be working, the babel sees the contexts, links to the right contexts but cant open the
http://mydomain.com/en/...The error that I get is 404.
I have tried clearing cache several times, checking permission settings and general settings of my MODX installation.
Can someone tell me where am I making a mistake and how to make another context with resources so it can be accessed as if it was a container(
http://mydomain.com/en/index.php) ?
May the problem be in the .htaccess configuration file?
Environment information:
MODX: MODX Revolution 2.2.4-pl (traditional)
PHP: PHP 5.2.17
Mysql: Mysql 5.5.25a-log, database charset UTF-8
Thank you in advance!
