Is there any way to parse a Resource?

I have some need to parse a Resource via a Snippet. This is because the Resource's content may be gained from a Snippet. Is there any way to have ModX parse the Resource via a call?

Take a look at my renderResources extra for some ideas on rendering another Resource in it's entirety from within a script.
