    Hi,
    I've just upgraded from MODX 2.2.1 to 2.2.4 but now my template variables have dissapeared.
    I attach screenshot.
    I've deleted core/cache several times. Tested in some browsers and accounts. Cleared caché of browsers and MODX, but the problem persists.
    Could it be any MODX component or prior configuration?
    Regards,
    Miguel

      I've detected the same problem reported here: http://tracker.modx.com/issues/8104
      Any ideas?

        I've tried to reinstall MODX, checked core/config.inc.php , .htaccess and index.php files, but still not working.
        Found other users reporting same problem but without solution.

        PS. this thread should be in "general support", sorry.

          The problem is only on update. When creating new documents TVs are showing fine

            It's possible that you have a missing or corrupted file in your upgrade, especially if you used FTP to transfer the individual files -- that fails more often than you might think.

              I installed it using SSH. Downloaded again 2.2.4, unzipped and reinstalled MODX, but the problem persists.
              Can it be a MODX bug? A few users are reporting the same issue.
              Unfortunately I made a mistake with the site backup prior to upgrade and can't restore 2.2.0 ;(

                It certainly could be a bug, but unless someone on the dev. team can make it happen, it will be almost impossible to fix.

                If you report it as a bug, be sure to include everything you can about your environment (server type, PHP version, MySQL version, etc.).

                Have you tried turning off the compress_css and compress_js System Settings, then deleting all the files in the core/cache directory?

                Do you have any MODX security ACL entries or Form Customization rules that might apply?

                  Tried:
                  - turning off compress_css and compress_js
                  - delete core/cache
                  - We have no FC
                  - Disabled all plugins
                  - We have some ACL rules but everything was working fine before the updrage. I think we have nothing in this way. Tried with restricted user and with superuser also and problem is always the same.
                  - We have never had problems with file permissions and our server configuration is still the same. In other hand, Tvs are showing fine when creating a new document but not when updating so it can't be permissions related.

                  Does MODX Manager has any debug mode to see what information is received when editing a document?

                    I can see that firebug show a lot of information of what if MODX returning: data, configuration, etc ( DOM and Network ), but I don't know where to look for exactly.
                    I can see tvCounts Object { 4=3, 0=1}
                    And Object { 6=0, 3=4, 4=4, más...}

                      I'm afraid I can't help you there, though I do see TVs and form fields rendered in different places on different browsers.

                      One thing you can do is look at the page source in Firebug. That will show you HTML that's placed there with JS (which doesn't always show in "view source"). It might tell you if the TVs are there somewhere (I suspect that they are there and just not visible).
