It's not that I don't like the default Manager theme but visually it feels a little bland; it doesn't 'pop'. For example, the Evolution buttons in the floating toolbar are much nicer and standout more. But this isn't so much about Evo as it is about the style of the new MODX Cloud UI as seen from a partial screenshot in a 'Welcome' email. Granted I have yet to see the whole UI but from the tiny bit I've seen the black/grey/white/green color scheme looks very crisp and sharp. Kudos to whomever designed it. That's the look I would like to see for the default Manager theme. Any chance of that happening? I know, why don't I just design my own theme? Because I don't have time to learn how to do it.
I realize it's not all about eye candy, but I think the Cloud scheme better fits the coolness that is MODX Revo and would give the Manager a more polished look and tie the products together more closely. Anyway, it's just one guy's aesthetic sensibilities. Nothing more.
