    Hello.
It's my second time posting here.
    I'm using MODx Revo 2.2.2

I wanted to make latest posts and comments appear in the side bar in every section of my website.
Did a bit of searching after initial idea of how to do it failed, and found this thread https://forums.modx.com/thread/?thread=72552&page=1
    But even with
    [[Articles? &container=`IDOFCONTAINER`]]

which allows placeholders to be used out of article container, I'd not make it work. And yes, I did change container name to the one I've.

Instead of getting for example my latest posts, I get a table like error.
    I'll provide any information needed.

P.s I'm REALLY new to MODx

    Thanks in advance,
bLank [ed. note: blankpicture last edited this post 14 years, 3 months ago.]

It takes the ID# of the Articles container, not its name.

Bad choice of words. I did at first make this mistake( before posting), then put an ID, but still no luck.

Should I post that table like error as an attachment?

That might be a good idea; it's hard to say what it's doing if we don't see the resulting errors.

As far as I know it's possible to get same result using getResources snippet, but I'm not quite sure how to make it work. All my tries ended in failure. I'm not quite sure how to pull exactly that piece of information(latest posts/comments) from articles.

You can use getResources as well make sure to read this here it explains how to do it.

Thank you. After writing my latest post, I somewhat found it myself. Forgot to post back here that I solved it. Kind of surprised that I didn't saw it, maybe was just too tired. Thanks anyway ^^
Still, somewhat weird why other method didn't work.
