Printing issue in IE v.8

I've recently ported a clients site from Expression Engine to MODX 2.2.4-pl. Everything is working well except when printing hard copies of any site page from IE v.8. I've set up a separate media="print" CSS file which works great with IE v.9, Safari, Firefox and Chrome but my client is running IE v.8 and can't get a complete print of any page.

I'm out of ideas here. Anybody got any clues?

You'll need to show some code (link to the site?) and at least post a screenshot of the problem before anyone can help

I don't have IE8, what's broken when you try to print? Screenshot?

I don't have IE8 either. I have IE9 which is fine. My client has IE8. Prints in IE8 only include the main page content (copy and images). The page formatting, graphic banner, left menu and graphic pod under the menu are not printed.

Nothing jumps out at me but you've got some markup validation issues, that might be something to do with it:

This is now solved. Turned out to be an issue with the clients machine. CSS absolutely fine.
