    While developing new cmp for modx Revo, I have a problem with Lexicon.
    I can see lexicon in manager, but my extjs scripts (admin panel for cmp) cant display it.
    Please help!) How i can connect ext js and lexicon?

    P.S. Sorry for my bad language smiley

      Hi,

      You try to clear your cache, or search if something is wrong with the configuration of your namespace.

      To find out if MODx is reading his file "lexicon" place this code at the beginning of your file

      exit ("I am here brother!");

      if this goes on your screen right block, then place the "exit code" at the end of the file.

      If you see the message again then the error is
      this in the name of the array indexing $ _lang.

      But if you do not see the message, surely
      There is an error of concatenation of text in your code.

      Regards.

          For example
          html: '<h2>'+_('newsmaker.desc')+'</h2>'

          print "undefined"

          in lexicon file
          $_lang['newsmaker.desc'] = 'Manage news';

            Ok,

            you have the call to lang.js.php?

            try this

            http:// www.yoursite.com/connectors/lang.js.php?ctx=mgr&topic=YOUREXTRA:default

            and so can look if your definition.

            In any case I advise you use firebug or "chromium inspector "so you can see if the file lang.js.php, is being called or not

            Regards. [ed. note: rtoskit last edited this post 14 years, 3 months ago.]

                Thx, i find in db field which sets lexicon for module. Table "modx_actions" column "lang_topics". In manager-panel we don't have this parameter.
