    Hi,

I've got problem with Modx 2.2.4 revolution recently and i'm getting frustrated. I've looked up in de forums everywhere but didn't find a solution for it. My problem is now:

If i set my core/cache- folder to permission 777 or 776 or 775, the manager (back-end) is up, but my website will become unavailable. (http 500)

If I set my core/cache-folder permission 770(or lower) my website will go up, but the manager become unavailable.

Does anyone know why this happened?

      I've installed the following packages.

      getResources
      getPage
      TinyMce
      Wayfinder
      modMobile

I've uninstall and removed all the packages and the website works again.
I think one of these package causes the crash in the cache of my website. But which one it is, i dont know.
      • My vote would be for modMobile. Go ahead and re-install all the others one by one and check the site (just in case), but these packages are stable and do not cause sites to wonk.

Are you building the site from scratch or a template? Or is it existing? Depending on the answer, other mobile options might be available.

I aggree with Frogabog, modMobile is the most likely culprit.

You might try 755, which is more likely to keep the server happy in both contexts.
