mailing list options/advice

Just wondering what people are using for mailing list software with Modx?

I’ve had a brief look at phplist and that looks very good but obviously something that integrates with Modx would be great.
What experience have people had with Koops? what are it’s limitations? I’m assuming it’s not as powerful phplist?

You might like to take a look at mailbuild from campaign monitor. It allows to to place their API into Modx, so users can subscribe and unsubscribe easily and this updates your account at http://www.mailbuild.com/. The software and service is excellent and would provide you users with a full email newsletter facility, the ability to manage subscribers and get reports on the email campaigns you send out.

I guess the only issue that will arrise is if you need to have these details inside Modx database itself as part of a bigger bit of functionality. But as you only pay when you send its worth alook as its easy for users to manage

Ok I’ve got koops working now - does anyone have a fix to the bug where hitting the enter key gives an extra paragraph?
Also when I try to add styles e.g. bold it flashes for a second then goes back to normal. There’s also a javascript error about setVariableModifer????

What’s going on? is there a fix to this buggy integration with TinyMCE?
