Piwigo Galleries in modx

Hello all
I post a message here hoping to find more people interested in this project. I tried to find a good gallery picture manager for modx, "gallery" addon didn't satisfy me.
I had a better idea, I'd like to use a independant gallery software like Piwigo to upload and organize my pictures. And display them in a modx website, with articles and comments.
Piwigo allows that with a webAPI: http://piwigo.org/doc/doku.php?id=dev:webapi:start

I only need a read only access so I didn't bother with all methods available.

2 files, one is the 5 functions we need to display by tag, by album/category or to retrieve them and get exif info.
The otherffile calls the functions and display the results (for testing purposes)

Most of my comments are in French, but I can translate them if needed

Now I have to put this as a snippet and integrate it in modx, with modifications to make a default template and parameters.
I'm not enough skilled so I progress very slowly (actually I don't know where to start, I have to read some docs again)
Is there someone interested in such project ? I'd like some help

perhaps you'd be interested to announce it on twitter? use #modx hashtag.
this forum system is not comfortable to browse.
anyway, i'm building my own, which has not finished yet, so, I'll just keep close.

I don't have any twitter account, and it's a WIP, it'll need work. I'm not sure it could be annouced on Twitter for the moment.
If you think it should be published, could you do that for me ?

I'm not sure to create an account I didn't need until today. But you seem to think it's the only way to draw attention on this work, right ?

I now have a twitter account, and sent something about this project. During this month I also translated all my comments and improved the code (I hope so!) in order to use it in a snippet...
Next step is to re-read the insctructions to make it a real snippet, and see if someone else is interested
