It's been a couple years since I was into web development, but now I'm getting active again, and coming back to MODx to get involved and catch up on all the advances I missed.
I am looking to put together a list of reliable, affordable graphic designers that I can call on when I get hired. My graphic design skills are really undeveloped. So this is something I would subcontract out.
Ideally? Looking for someone who can almost always take a job on 1 to 5 days notice, works quickly and confidently, communicates well (overcommunication is better than undercommunication), and who keeps prices low. If you enjoy your work, it shows.
By package I mean, possibly a logo, a background, a handful of icons or nice touches that match, and input on colors. I do not intend on selling my clients anything too wild. Every "order" is customized to what the clients need, of course. Primarily the sites will be MODx but some could be on a WP framework also.
I am willing to pay more as I make more, and to help promote your brand.... so... hopefully a good partnership can come together and we can grow together.
Please do not take offense if my budget is low... I know I may need to work with those who are new and also just starting on building a business. If you reply, please give me some ballpark estimate of what you might charge for the type of work I mentioned.
There is no impending job as of yet... this is truly the pre-planning phase and getting organized so that when I do get moving this summer, I am prepared and can feel confident in what I can offer the client.
