Hi all,
I'm new to modx and have had a web built for me. I have a basic understand on web design and can often find my way around to level.
I'm baffled on how i re-direct/link internal links.
I've altered a template/page and want this to me the new direction of several links with in the web.
I found on the resources tab where I can redirect the button in the menu bar on web. its the internal ones that say click here etc
I can't seem to find any way to do it.
I've spent about 2-3hrs looking through modx learning and can't seem how to do such a basic function!
i'm on 2.2.2 traditional.
anyway, any help for a blind newbie would be really really appreciated!
thanks!
Ok.. not sure if i explained that well.
lets try this way.
i have for eg 5 tabs in menu
home about products order contact
I had a 2nd orders page that i've altered and created. I need to make this the new orders page as it has the up to date prices and new pay pal links.
I've managed to change the link in the menu, however its the links in the home page and on other pages that needs to be directed to the new order page, they are still going to old orders page.
any help would be hugely appreciated!!
thanks!
Helena

Drag and drop your new resource into the spot in the resource tree where the old resource was. Then delete or unpublish the old resource.
EDIT: This assumes that you're using Wayfinder to produce your page menus. If you're not using Wayfinder, this won't work. Suggest to use Wayfinder for menus if you've built them manually.
