In 2.2.2, seems like when you duplicate a context with a custom alias value for your pages, the duplicated page will contain the autogenerated alias based on title, instead of duplicating the value found in the original page's alias field.
Taking into account duplicate aliases are allowed across contexts, is there a reason the alias field itself is not duplicated?
I'm kinda expecting the same fields on the duplicated page instead of autogenerated values (which I would expect for the ID field ONLY)
Having just setup multiple contexts for content syndication purposes, i was hoping just to duplicate one context every time the need for new syndication arises. However, with modx butting in and autogenerating all the aliases for duplicated context, I am having to manually go through and match up the aliases which is a good few hours of menial work.

Can you enter a bug ticket for this? I don't think it should reset the alias' when duplicating a context unless an alias is blank or global_duplicate_uri check is turned on.
Additional thoughts and ideas welcome on the subject.

also, checked, global_duplicate_uri_check is set to "no" in my install.

Any movement on this bug? Jason -- I've got a very specific need (and a firm deadline in less than two weeks) that will absolutely require resources in duplicated contexts to keep their alias values during duplication. I'm running 2.2.4 and it doesn't seem to be working correctly. I could really use some help on this, and am willing to hack the core if it means a short-term fix. Thank you!

By the way, menuindex also seems to be misbehaving on context duplication. This is less of a big deal, but will still cause a lot of extra work. Any chance this is also an easy or related fix?
