Blank Manager and Setup pages after site migration

Hi everyone. Began a server migration today on Media Temple (moved from their 3.5 server to their 4.0 dv), and used their Migration Manager. Server has multiple Modx builds on it. First two I checked using Revo have same issue. Pages load, (from modx templates) but no content in them, no wayfinder menus, manager is blank white page. I added the setup folder for the version of modx, tried to access the setup, also blank white page. I have gone through the migration instructions, read every thread I could find on here, but am still hitting a wall.

I updated the config.inc.php file in the core/config folder to simply change the IP address. I have an existing modx revo site on this server (that wasn't migrated, but built traditionally), and I have the config files open side by side, and they look exactly the same except for the IP address (they are on different IPs). The directory structure on Media Temple from the 3.5 to the 4.0 is exactly the same, so really didn't need to make any changes in the config for file paths.

Anyone have any ideas what might be my problem? I'm stuck after 5 hours...?

Hi, solved my problem, safe mode was on. Not sure why I was able to do build a newer modx site on this server 3 weeks ago (non migrated), but turning it off fixed my issue, in case anyone else is as dumb as me.

Thanks for sharing -- everybody's forgotten something like that before. When you say "safe mode" -- you mean PHP's safe mode, correct?
