Does anyone know of a way to have documents in folder e.g. news be moved to another folder e.g. news archive when a certain date has passed.
This is basically to stop the tree menu being so long when you only need to see recent items it would be good to have older items automatically move to another folder.
Any ideas?

You would have to create a plugin to do that ... look at the code that deals with scheduled publishing for inspiration.

Certainly would be interresting to have this handy... in the meantime the common way is use Reflect with Ditto but it won’t move the documents once unpublished, just change the listing of published/archived documents.
