Articles: overview and list on same page

Hey, I use the plugin Articles in Modx Revolution (2.2.4).

I want to show the overview of articles (with pagination) on the page and next to it the article itself. Let's compare it with a menu where the overwiew is in the menu and the articles are on the pages. It must be done with the plugin Articles to list the articles.

Displaying an overview is no problem, but when I click on an item then the overview disappears and the article is showed. I want to keep the overview on the page (and on the correct page, so If I'm on page 4 then the overview should stay on page 4 when clicking an article).

I use to show the overview and for the pagination.

Anybody knows a simple solution for this? Maybe there's a property I can add at articles? I suppose I'm not the first one with this issue?

You could load the Article via AJAX. Would look nice n sleek too

The other option is to ensure you have the and tags on both the Articles Container Template and Article Template so that when you click through to an individual post, the pagination/menu/overview is still there. You'd have to pass a URL param to maintain "persistence" on the menu. Not 100% as to the nuts and bolts of that right at this moment but it's doable.

That's not working. I have the code on both templates, but when I click on an article then the links are gone. What do you mean with 'pass that URL param'?

I don't understand, is it that rare to display the overview and the article on the same page? I can't find anything of documentation on this topic.

I worked with getpage and got the job done! Only thing not working is to stay on the pagination that I'm on. For example: If I take an article on page 3 then the menu is going back to page 1.

I would like it to stay on page 3 and that the link is highlighted, just like in a wayfinder.
