So i’ve been playing with MODx for about a day now and I’ve become stuck outputting an XML document from a number of documents in a specific folder
What I’ve done is create a template, with a few template variables, (eg. address, when, bands, venue etc) which each act as an element in the XML structure.
eg - for
each document you would get:
<item>
<address></address>
<when></when>
<bands></bands>
<venue></venue>
</item>
So essentially I have a bunch of documents in a folder, formatted as XML, that need to be "stuck" together, or aggregated.
I looked into ditto, but had a feeling i was about to jump into something that may not be the easiest way to go about solving this *seemingly* easy problem - so I came here
Any ideas?
