Answered Using WebLogin 1.1 with ModX Evolution

Interesting.. i can get the name to appear by simply going into the login form chunk, and resaving it, (even without edits)
that makes the name show up

Example of cached snippet:

Example of uncached snippet:

The reason why you see the name when you save the chunk is that when you save the chunk MODX clear the cache.

Can you show me a little bit of the code and the way you're using it? If you place checklogin snippet directly in the chunk, outside the Weblogin snippet, it should work. Maybe you're using it inside another snippet.

You bet:

And the code for my chunk call for {{login1}} is:

Indeed, it seems that it does not work well. I know two possible solutions/workaround:
1. If you can, add the "username" snippet directly inside "logoutTpl"
2. Uncheck "cached" checkbox in all Resource (but it's not a good idea, try (1) first!).

Hmm, did you delete your reply? I saw you posted another tip, and was gunna try to implement that solution.. thanks!

It seems you've marked it as solved (or maybe it is a forum bug as it happend to me some time ago) and therefore my last post is actually the second in this thread now!

haha.. OK, i 'lll look above.. thxs!

OH yeah, thats another question:

I canty find out the syntax to specify the logout tpl..
i'm using :

but that doesn't actually work....
I am calling the login tpl, with:

&tpl=`loginTpl`

but again, I couldnt find documentation to successfully call a logout tpl...

awesome! thx so much.. will try now
