Hey all,
I just am working on a site using 2.2.2pl. It works fine except there is one resource that I created (id 16) which is accessible, readable, editable but not showing up in page-tree on the left. I can edit it if manually entering the URI and it is viewable by all.
Any hints where I can fix the error?

Did you delete the manager cache via ftp? The "empy cache" menu entry does not really empty the cache.

What is the parent id in the db? Very odd... are you sure all your cache files are writable by PHP?

You might want to check that the resource isn't hidden from the tree seeing as how you have Articles installed. I know we had this bug hit us on a site and that ended up being the issue.
openGeek's question about the parent is definitely worth checking. It's possible for a page to become it's own parent, probably through a drag-and-drop quirk, and that will goof up the tree. I think it's also possible for a resource to belong to a resource group that no longer exists, though that's harder to diagnose.

FWIW - I installed MODX once, probably in the 2.1.x era and had this same thing happen. Create document, nothing. Nowhere to be found. Then there was wonkiness with new document ID's IIRC.
I posted here about it, no response. I'm sure I can't find the post though, and it hardly matters anyway. I couldn't solve it, so I x'd the entire install and started over.

parent is, as expected, '0'.
show_in_tree is set to '1', so nothing special in DB site_content
