I have built a couple of websites using Evo. I am used to using Evo and like using Evo. But I upgraded to Revo on a couple of sites and could not get them working on the WWD/GoDaddy hosting platform.

The Evo edition did not have this problem. Have hosting issues with the Wild West Reseller / Go Daddy hosting platform been resolved with the newer versions of Revo?

Just as a note, no, I do not have the option of utilizing any other host for these projects, as I am a reseller.

I am more than willing to install a version of Revo on my hosting account and report back, if necessary, just thought this might have already been addressed (though I cannot find such a post on this issue).

    • Are you using a level above shared hosting? We can get Revo working on GoDaddy no problem in terms of serving up pages. The performance is horrible as they tend to oversell their resources, hence the cheap price.

I think we used the installation direct from GoDaddy for our last client on that host:

You should be able to liaise with their technical support.
      • You should be able to get MODX Revolution working on GoDaddy, but as noted it generally runs horribly. If you have problems, ask and we can try to help you.

Why not just switch to reselling hosting through another company? If you need to put extra effort into getting something working with a hosting company, why not devote that effort to moving to a host were things just work?
