modx.tree sorting

Hello.
I don't understand how modx.tree sort deforeSort event is supposed to work.
It passes all node hierarchy encoded and simplified as argument to the event and then as parameter in the request.

I use an adjacency list model for my hierarchy! I just need to know the node being dragged and the target node.
This is passed in the dropEvent but it is lost and it is not passed to the processor.

I need to know the dragged and target node in the processor.
How is this supposed to work?

Can you file an issue in the tracker for this? This does appear to be a discrepency, or at least a useful improvement to the event properties.
