Hi,
I used template variables of Input type of 'Image' quite a lot. For other developers and less technical colleagues I've seen they have no problem working out how to add an image. You just click the little arrows and the resource manager pops up, you click on what you want and then it's added.
However, everyone seems to struggle to remove an such a template variable and blank it.
Now I've used MODx for ages and to me it seems obvious. You select the text and hit delete. However everyone else seems to be a little confused and can't work out themselves how to delete it. This has happened so often that I'd like to suggest an improvement:
* When there is something in the image TV field, a little x or cross symbol appears. Clicking this empties the field.
* Alternatively, when click the arrows and you enter the file manager, there is an icon that represents a 'blank' file and this clears the address in the box.
Could this help make the already pretty good Manager even easier to use? Thoughts?
This sounds like a pretty good idea. Could you just post this as a feature request for Revo?

Maybe the "x" is only available on mouse hover the field?
The less subtle the better, I think it should be fairly obvious that the button or target to engage the action will enable the person to clear or "Remove this Image" or file.
