Tutorial for Articles 1.4.7??

Hi, does anyone know where I can find a turorial for Articles 1.4.7? (I have to use this version as 1.6.x isn't compatible with MODx 2.2.0...)

Can't seem to find any tutorials for this version of Articles, which is a shame- as far as I can tell it should be a lot easier and more streamlined to use than the old getResources, but all I have are the raw snippets that I downloaded... if anyone knows where I can find the tutorial that would be great...

In fact, I'm also not sure if I can install 1.4.7 via package management, it just seems to install 1.6.1 and then tells me it's not compatible. I downloaded a zip file but it doesn't seem to have any installation instructions... [ed. note: galahad5 last edited this post 14 years, 4 months ago.]

Articles is a new extension and that may explain the lack of documentation.

The 2.2.4 version of MODX has just been released and fixes a major bug in 2.2.3.

It may save your time to update your website and use the latest Articles version.
Make absolutely sure that you have a working backup of the current version.

You can install downloaded packages from your local computer. Click the down arrow on the right of the "Download Extras" button and you'll see an option to get the extra from your local computer.
