I have just started a site in Revo 2.2.4 (upgraded from 2.2.2 > 2.2.3 > 2.2.4) but I'm having huge problems with the file browser.
I can upload images via the MODX browser in the Files tab, TinyMCE and Image TVs and see them via FTP - I can even create new directories from the file browser and see them in the file browser, and delete them from there too, but I can't see any images, and therefore use or insert them in any way.
I believe I've followed the correct steps for setting up Media Sources etc.
The server is Apache/2.2.22 / PHP v5.3.10
Can someone please help me?
UPDATE: I have just done a new MODX install in another folder on the same server - this time it's v2.1.1-pl, and there is no problem at all with the images - I can see them, upload and delete via the File tab and image TVs, and place them in documents.
But I still need to find out why 2.2.2 - 2.2.4 won't work with media sources?

Do you have ImageMagick installed on the server?
It doesn't appear in phpinfo, but GD does - any ideas why they (thumbnails) would show in 2.1.1 but not in anything over 2.2.2?

They should be generated with GD, granted the requirements (
http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Server+Requirements) do note you should have ImageMagick installed for thumbnails.
Also just to make sure we are on the same page, the resources are on the local file system or a media source? They are two different animals.
I'm assuming that because 2.1.1 can generate the thumbnails, 2.2.2 should be able to do so on the same server, using GD instead of ImageMagick.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean with the differentiation of file system or media source... the site is on a live server and the media source uses the file server source type?
Although I would admit to being a little confused by the new media sources setup, I just installed 2.2.4 on a Media Temple server and can see/insert images etc no problem with a similar setup, so I do think I've got things right within the manager.
I'm happy to PM you the cms login if you want to peek - It's just a small site as a 'freebie' for a friend, and it seems i've tripped at the first hurdle after building quite a few in previous versions.

It should be working with just GD so there is likely something "off" that needs to be addressed. If you want shoot me an email with the login details patrick at skytoaster dot com. I can take a look later this week and see if it's something simple.
I have the same problem as atype. Did this get resolved, if so, what was the solution?
