getResouces &sortby question

How do I get getResources to retrieve the last ten posts EXCEPT for the three most recent.

I have a news page, the most three recent posts are displayed with a paginated list of ten to the right. Ideally, the most three recent wouldn't need to be displayed twice on the same page.

&sortby=`???`

You don't need to change the sortby property; use the same properties you used for the call to get the top three, except change limit to 10 and offset to 3.
