    Apache 2.2.22
    PHP 5.3.9
    MySQL 5.5.15
    MODX 2.2.0-pl2 advanced install
Multiple contexts with a single core install

I've tried upgrading our version of MODX to 2.2.4, 2.2.3, and 2.2.1. I keep having the same issue. All of the front-end site contexts load fine, but the manager will not...just a white screen. Placement of die statements in the /manager/index.php file show that the script fails at new modX() instantiation. Beyond that, I can't get any errors to show from MODX or Apache/PHP.

I've done a blanket 777 permissions for all of the directories to rule that out. I've also confirmed that the config files have the correct paths.

    Does anyone have an idea???

    Many thanks!

Whoops...upon reading the "before you post"...we're using the Active Directory plugin (hmmm) and the big ones like Wayfinder, Articles, etc.

Can you disable the Active Directory plugin and see if that is the source of the issue?

I went a little berserker and uninstalled all of the add-ons before performing the upgrade (couldn't handle another failure!). This time it worked. Of course, I'll need to do a piecemeal uninstall to isolate the offensive add-on. Right now, I'm just happy to be back on track.
