How to migrate

I need to migrate existing installation of MODX (0.9.6.2) to a new server.
What approach should I take?
Do I need do some modification in DB?

New server uses PHP open_basedir flag.

Usually you only need to do as follow (but read the guide as it's more detailed):
1. Upload the database
2. Upload the files with the FTP
3. Change path (if necessary) on ".htaccess"
4. Change database settings on "manager/includes/config.inc.php"
5. Log in the manager, open "Tools > Configuration" and update the path you find in "Interface&Features > File base path" and on "File Manager > File Manager path".
6. Set config.inc.php to 444
