I see a number of posts here mostly from quite some time ago regarding the Discuss forum addon. A number state that it is due for public release "in a few weeks", "in a couple of months" etc. SOme of these posts are over 2 years old.
I'm currently not a ModX user, but have been hovering around the sidelines for quite a while.
I suppose my question is simple: "Is Discuss ever going to see a public release?". I've not seen it in the list of available addons under this name nor any other. What is the reason for the delay in releasing, as it has been used here for a number of years already.
As soon as I can persuade my manager of the advantages of ModX over Drupal, I'll be quick to get going, and a forum addon (native, not a bridged solution), would be a very good persuader.
