    I think you’ll never be able to name a TV "content" and have it work. "Content" is/should be reserved for the built in content field in MODx. You’ll have to hack the document parser, API and manager to otherwise make it work, and you’ll have no upgrade path.

      Hee hee... I’ve cracked it! grin - so far...

      What I did was kept my main content div like this:
      <div id="Body">
      <div id="DetailTextCol">
      [*content*]
      </div>
      ... and then I deleted [*content*] as a TV and it worked - I am now able to add content from the Document Content manager.
      Unfortunately, (deep sigh) the rich text editor now has the Styles and Paragraph formatting drop-downs greyed out, so I can’t apply H1, P etc... obviously negating my css settings. Would you know the reason for this please? and how I can re-activate these drop-downs?

      I have to sign out now but I’ll definitely be back either tonight or tommorow - your advice is very much appreciated.
      Thanks
