    Hello everyone,
I installed Articles a few weeks ago, but then I realized that I don't need this snippet, so I uninstalled it and deleted the Package.
But now I have an error in the error log:

    [2012-06-13 09:53:50] (ERROR @ /connectors/resource/index.php) Could not load class: ArticlesContainer from mysql.articlescontainer.

How there can be an Articles error although I uninstalled and deleted it?

I cleared the MODX chache, the browser cache, I reinstalled the packages which came with Articles (Quip, tagLister and so on), but there's no effect.

    Could you help me please?

    The system:
    MODX Revolution 2.2.0-pl2
and I used the older version of Articles, 1.4.7-pl

    Thanks in advance!

I am getting this error too after going through a uninstall of the Articles package within MODX 2.2.5.

        [2012-11-28 04:48:00] (ERROR @ /mxconnectors/resource/index.php) Could not load class: ArticlesContainer from mysql.articlescontainer.

Is this something I should really be worried about. Perhaps something in the mysql needs to be cleared up.

Have you tried manually deleting all the folders in the core/cache/ folder? Also, check your Element, especially plugins, to make sure that it deleted all of its elements when you removed it.

Yes, I have deleted all folders in the core/cache folder. All the relevant Elements seem to have been deleted.

I just noticed that that when I go into a TV's Template Access tab that tplArticlesContainer and tplArticleTemplate appear. Perhaps references to these Templates have been left in the mysql database.

Could I just delete these 2 templates from the modx_site_templates table? [ed. note: glynszasz last edited this post 13 years, 10 months ago.]

Yes, and you might want to check for any other leftover elements, particularly plugins.

Articles installs a number of other extras, such as getResources, getPage and Quip, and upon removal also removes some or parts of some of these other extras. I've found that trying to get a site working nicely after removing Articles can be very annoying.
