Long story short, I had to customize one of the packages from the MODX package manager repo... so I don't want anyone to every touch it or breathe on it or god-forbid UPDATE it ever again because that will break the customizations.
Is there an easy way to disable updates or to modify a package so MODX no longer recognizes it as something that needs updating?
Why not removing its provider/source ?
In the package manager "view details" on the desired extra then set "provider" to none. I bet it'll do the trick.
Hope that will help

Just a thought. . . . You might consider letting the author know what you did so future versions of the extra could handle cases like yours without customization.

Yeah, I did make a couple feature requests for Shaun... but this particular thing is so whacked out (not my code). Thanks for the responses!
