Home page is a folder.

Hi, just using modx for the first time. Since I installed revolution the other day, the home page resource has been a folder icon, and subsequent pages have been a document icon. Is this how it should be? I've run into problems creating a wayfinder navigation and I think it could be to do with that?

As soon as a Resource has childs, it will become the folder icon.
This is normal.

What are your issues with wayfinder?

In Revolution, having children and being a folder are independent. The "Container" checkbox when you edit the resource determines whether it's a container (folder) or not, regardless of whether it has children. The icon used in the tree, however, is based on whether the resource has children, as Bruno17 says.

The URL for a resource depends on its container status (not whether it has children) and the container_suffix system setting.

I think Wayfinder uses the container status of the resource, but I'm not positive.

Thank you both, that's what I'd done, make the subsequent resources children of the home page. All sorted.
