MODx 0.9.6

    Given a hierarchy like that:

de

Foo

Test

en

Foo

Test

I want to allow some manager users to access the pages "Foo" and "Test" under "de" and "en", but disallow the access to "de" and "en" itself.

Currently there are two document groups: A and B
A has access to "de" and "en". B is allowed to modify "Foo" and "Test".

Problem: The users for document group B don’t see anything, because "de" and "en" aren’t shown in the document tree view, including the sub folders and sub documents.

Is there a solution to this problem?

In MODx 0.9.6 you can enable the "Show Protected Documents" option in the configuration tab. This will show all of your documents in the tree, however, users can only edit the documents they have access to.

Tools -> Configuration -> Interface & Features -> Show Protected Documents -> Yes
