getResources shows unpublished items on Revo ??

Hi all !

Facing a problem with published/unpublished resources :

I have a resource (page) with ID #6 which is unpublished.

On another page, I want to show part of the content of resource 6 only if resources 6 is published.
I put the following call to getResources :

[[!getResources:default=`Bientôt de nouvelles promotions`?
&resources=`6`
  &includeContent=`1`
&tpl=`ma_promo`
]]

The template ma_promo is :

[[+content:stripTags:ellipsis=`350`]]

The problem is that the content is showed all the time, whatever the published/unpublished status for resource 6 !

Am I wrong in my understanding of the documentation ?
Is there a better way to do it ?

Hello,

Could you try adding &showUnpublished=`0` &showHidden=`0` to the call and see if that helps any?

Thanks for the trick, but it does not change anything.

It looks like the fact to give the id of the resource dirve the fact it WILL display anyway.

Maybe Jason who wrote the snippet could help ?

Are you logged into the Manager by any chance? because you will be seeing all content even if they are unpublished. Try logging out then try that page again.

The resources parameter is separate from the rest of the selection logic. If you include a Resource's id in the resources property, it will be included regardless of other selection criteria (other than limit/offset).
