Doodles CMP panel not showing

Hi all,
I've hit a wall with the Doodles tutorial:

I've got as far as creating the home.panel.js file. At this point the tutorial suggests loading the page. Clicking on components >> doodles just loads up a blank page. I've checked the error log and it's clear but Firebug returns a number of "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - " errors. eg.

So it seems it's looking in the MODX directories when it should be looking in the directories where I'm developing the extra? I've also noticed there are no lexicon entries for doodles either.

I'd really appreciate some advice, I've had a crack at this tutorial a few times and would really like to get it nailed this time.

I've fixed the 404 errors. I deleted the doodles.assets_url system setting and re-entered it. It's fixed the 404 errors but I'm still not getting the panel.

Just left with one error now in Firebug

"Doodles is not defined"

Sorted this now, these errors were all path related.

I made these changes in xampp to get all the paths working correctly

This is related to Minify sort of problem when catching the source files for compressing. Discussing on the IRC for a while and we have other solution than changing the DocumentRoot directly to your personal space (by creating symlink or sub-directory within DocumentRoot). You can check the System Settings> Filter key: Compress, turn off Js compress and Css compress. Clear the cache and the issue should be gone.
