    Hi, again
    Testing Articles 1.6 I can manage the template for article list.

    In the Blog manager there's a few tpl declared (for archives, tags..) in advanced tab.
    I dont see how to customize those tpl.

    For "Archive Listing Chunk:" there's "row" wich basically is not provided , so I guess this rendering is done thru some hard coded stuff.(??).

    The rendered code looks puddy good, except there's no class attributed to the UL,
    why because "Archive CSS Class:" is set by default to "arch" ?

    There's a Archive Listing Chunk wich is used when choosing this view.
    the rendered code is "corrupted" because of an extra unuseful parent UL (ther's already an ul in the provided Archive Listing Chunk.
    <ul>
     <ul>
        <li><a href="blog-dzineo/2012">2012</a>
        <ul>
            <li class="arch">
        <a title="juin 2012" href="blog-dzineo/2012/06">juin 2012</a> (1)
    </li>
        </ul>
        </li>
    </ul></ul>

      If there are any resources not provided, such as the call in question, look at the parent tool's rtfm page. In the case of the Archive Listing Chunk, the default chunk is: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Archivist.Archivist.tpl

      Just make a chunk called row, add the contents from the above link, and customize. It should do the trick for you smiley

        Thank you.

        I did not made the connection with the Archivist snippet.:{

        However, the 'row ' tpl is actually what you said, a tpl for each MONTH archive list.

        My main question is for its PARENT , when choosing in the Articles manager the Group By Year option, In this case, there's a Group By Year Chunk to be chosen
        .
        Whatever I put into it, it has strictly NO effect:
        Here's what I tried for this chunk:
        <ul class="year-arch [[+cls]]">
            <li><a href="[[+url]]">[[+year]]</a>
            <ul class="year-arch-row">
                [[+row]]
            </ul>
            </li>
        </ul>

        But as initially posted, the rendered html is always the one by default with the double ul (and I can't find where this default comes from).

          I came across this same thing. The 'Group By Year Chunk' in Articles seems to be ignored.
          The chunk it's using is here:
          core/components/archivist/elements/chunks/yeargroup.chunk.tpl

          You can edit it, but there ought to be a better way..
