[solved] Update from 1.4.0 to 1.5.0.-pl failing

Hey folks,

I am currently updating a gallery from 1.4.0-rc1 to 1.5.0-pl. Well - I try. i installes 1.4.0 on march 25'th and not as the client has agreed to make the website a bit fancier, I cant upgrade gallery

That is where it ends. The "OK" button is still blurred, nothing happenung from this point on. I cant even cancel it, i can only reload the page. A minute ago, I upgraded phpThumbOf without problems. But: the log says

[2012-06-05 21:09:28] (ERROR @ /connectors/workspace/package/version.php) Das Transport-Verzeichnis wurde nicht gefunden und konnte nicht aus dem Verzeichnis core/packages/ entfernt werden.

which means somethink like "unable to find the transport directory, so its imposible to remove it from core/packages".

Anyone a clue? I' really apreciate that.

Does the transport package (zip) exist in core/packages/?

If not, it may be a failed download. Try re-downloading the package (may need to remove the last version to get that option).

You didn't happen to have finished a migration with this site recently, did you?

Why did I knew that you'd be the first to respond?

I tried that some time. the Package is present in the packages folder. Its small (357kb), but its present.

This site is runnig about a year now without trouble.

Does it properly unzip the package into a similarly named directory in core/packages?

Its still possible to delete the package. After delete, redownloading and retriggering the installation, its the same: the overlay window is stuck at: "Skipping vehicle object of class modSystemSetting (data object exists and cannot be upgraded); criteria: Array ( [key] => gallery.tiny.theme_advanced_css_selectors ) "

Unzipping: yes, it does. I am currently trying to uninstall 1.4.0, too and start from zero.

Now its stuck here:

I really hate that fast forward style of development. It would be easy to tell me on install something like "This package is to new for your installation. Please stay at 1.4.0. or upgrade MODX to 2.2+"
