MODx Evo Image Resize doesn't work (FCKEditor)

I'm unable to save the resized image when using MODx 1.0.6. It appears that I can resize a large image although I don't see anything once I complete the resize and this is what I see when attempting to save the new smaller image:

Anyone else not able to resize images???

Anyone else not able to resize images or have a solution for this???

As far as I am aware, the image editing features of the default resource browser (mcpuk) has never worked. I always use the "miniphoto" snippet to resize images as needed. http://modx.com/extras/package/miniphoto
