XMLSchema - How to declare an 'enum' field ?

Hi all
Basic question but cannot find answer...
In an xml schema for a custom component how do I declare a field of type 'ENUM' equivalent to the SQL :
`owner` enum('1','2','3','4','5') NOT NULL default '' ?

I think you need a blank enum option in order to allow default '', but you can try either way.
