controllers location problem

    It does support parameters, I'm also using 2.2. Go to System > Actions > Create Menu and you should see the Parameters field below 'Icon'...

    2.2 is the latest stable version, you'll be fine starting with that. This is the core MODx product and it won't be stopping in any way.

          Definitely start with 2.2 for now. 2.3 is in development but it's not yet stable and will go through a lot more development before being released.

          Development on the core has stagnated a bit now that the core dev team is hammering on Cloud as we move towards private beta, but we'll see a more healthy split between those two returning soon.
